A little under a month ago I managed to pull together my first styled shoot. This was waaaaay out of my comfort zone, what if people said no, what if it all looked a little try hard whilst I was trying to channel a gritty industrial vogue type of shoot all with no prior experience...what if, WHAT IF!!!!
But do you know what happened? Magic people, that's what happened and I am so damn proud of it. Im proud I stuck to my guns on the location and theme for the shoot. I knew exactly what I wanted and I don't think it would have been such a success if I had settled. Even when I couldn't find the location I had envisioned in my head I thought its ok, you can just do it here/there, anywhere will work. But I would never have been 100% happy with the end result. I have no regrets from this shoot...well apart from not checking the picnic rug before opening it and showering everyone in crackers...thankyou children, you made me look super professional.
I learnt many things about myself in the planning and playing out of this shoot. Whilst I believe that we never stop growing, evolving, I did feel there were things I was quite certain of about myself but now not so much. So Im just going to back myself, regardless of the outcome. I HAVE GOT THIS, theres power in my loses and power in my wins.
Of course it wouldn't have been possible without the efforts of some amazing businesses & I am so humbled that they entrusted me to create this vision. Also a shout out to my amazing models Georgia & Edoardo, seriously guys, thanks for smashing it out of the park.
So, till next time....
